Entrance to Distillery District to close for sewer work in November
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Division of Water Quality says the entrance to Lexington’s popular Distillery District will be closed beginning November 11th for construction.
During construction roads between Oliver Lewis Way and the railroad/creek crossing near Driscoll Street will be closed.
Crews will replace 1,500 feet of a 50-year-old sewer line on Manchester Street. The construction will begin November 11th and go until May 2020.
The Division of Water Quality also says the project will replace part of the sewer line on Willard Street and some lines that serve properties in the construction zone.
There will still be sewer service in the area throughout construction.
