Emergency Operation Center cranks into action

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Emergency Management Operations Center is monitoring Monday’s snowstorm, and trying to stay ahead of it.

The director says, so far, there have been no calls from counties saying they need help, though according to the director, extra staff has been brought in to help keep an eye on things and get any necessary information out to local governments

Emergency staff say they expect this to be record breaking snow, and that their biggest concern is roadways. They say if you don’t have to be out driving, stay home and let road crews try and get things cleaned up.
