eBay scam circulating around Winchester

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Winchester Police Department is warning residents of a scam currently circulating.

A letter is sent to your home portraying itself as an offer from Ebay to pay you to be a Survey Evaluator.

According to the Winchester Police Department, the letter is sent with an instruction sheet and a fake cashier’s check, but the letter is not from EBAY.

Ebay is aware of the scam and they are working to stop it.
