East 80 yard sale and Labor day weekend safety

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The East 80 yard sale is Labor Day weekend and heavy traffic is expected along Ky 80, according to officials.

They are  asking motorists to slow down and stop when needed.

The yard sale will be the entire weekend up through late Monday.

The yard sale spans 55 miles and will go through Somerset, London, and Manchester, Ky. along Hwy 80.

Drivers should be extra attentive if they need to travel through that area. Sheriff’s deputies will be out in full force to assist motorists.
