Early morning crash sends two to hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police say a crash early Friday morning sent two people to the hospital.

According to police, it happened just before 3 o’clock on Newtown Pike and I-75.

They say a car ran the red light, hit a UPS truck, then a second passenger vehicle.

They say two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the first car was taken into custody for DUI.
