EDMONTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a woman was arrested and charged with DUI after a collision in Metcalfe County that sent her and two passengers – one of them 10 years old – to the hospital.

Troopers say 25-year-old Amy Vaughn, of Sulphur Well, was traveling westbound on US 68 on Thursday when she lost control of her vehicle and ran off the road at about 10:35 p.m. at mile marker 14.  Investigators say Vaughn’s vehicle then hit a tree stump and overturned.
