Dry Ridge Police: Take a Closer Look at Your Cash

GRANT COUNTY, Ky (WTVQ)- Police in Grant County say you should take a close look at your cash. The Dry Ridge Police Department says it has received reports of counterfeit money.

Real bills have serial numbers, hidden strips, and water marks. You do not see those on a photo the department shared on Facebook Saturday.

Officer say someone left the five as money for a tip without realizing it was counterfeit.
