Drugs, guns and money seized during arrest of two people

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A disturbance call led to the arrest of two people on drug and other charges in Pulaski County, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say when they first arrived at a home on Crimson Drive on Friday, two people locked themselves in a bathroom and refused to come out.  Due to a possible barricade situation, other law enforcement officers were called to the scene.

Investigators say after fifteen minutes, 35-year old Kenneth Wells, of Somerset, and 21-year old Sarah Edmonson, of Corbin, came out and were taken into custody.

Deputies say Wells had a Parole Violation Warrant out against him and Edmonson had a District Court Warrant out on her from Madison County.

Investigators say when they searched the home, they found 138 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, $2,367 in cash, three handguns, two sets of scales and numerous plastic baggies.

In addition to the outstanding warrants and drug charges, Wells was also charged with Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, according to deputies.

Wells and Edmonson were taken to the Pulaski County Detention Center.
