Drug bust lands two in jail in Letcher County

JEREMIAH, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say they seized drugs and a gun Friday from a home in the Jeremiah community of Letcher County.

Investigators say 48-year old Deana Whitaker was charged with trafficking in heroin and methamphetamine.  She was also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, according to KSP.

State Police say 50-year old Harold Geveoden was charged with trafficking in a legend drug.
