Driver charged with hitting motorcyclist

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman will be arraigned Monday, accused of intentionally hitting a motorcyclist on a Lexington street.
Court documents say 43-year-old Monica Lamptey was following the motorcyclist and his passenger in her car closely on Saturday morning.
The victims say it appeared she was trying to run them off the road.
Police say Lamptey then hit the motorcycle causing both victims to be thrown from the bike.
The driver was injured.
Lamptey is charged with wanton endangerment and assault.
