Donations needed in Johnson Co.

PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Johnson Central High School has been established as a drop-off/distribution point for supplies for those affected by severe storms and flooding in the area.  Items can be dropped off until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Organizers say they have a large supply of clothing at this point, but say t-shirts, boots, and gloves are still welcome.  Other items needed include:

  • Baby diapers
  • Baby food
  • Baby formula
  • Baby wipes
  • Water
  • Non-perishable food items
  • Contact solution
  • Personal care items
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Aspirin/Tylenol
  • First Aid care items
  • Flash lights
  • Batteries
  • Blankets/pillows
  • Rubber boots
  • Rubber gloves
  • Clorox
  • Clorox Wipes
  • Bug Spray
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Mops, buckets, brooms, dustpans
  • Lysol
