Dolly Parton Announces “My People Fund”
PIGEON FORGE, Tn. (WTVQ) – Dolly Parton is helping Tennessee fire victims get back on their feet.
The Dollywood Foundation says it will donate $1,000 dollars a month for six months, to Sevier County families who lost their homes in the fires.
The country music star wrote in a statement, “I’ve always believed charity begins at home and my home is some place special. That’s why I’ve asked my Dollywood Companies…to help me establish the My People Fund.”
