Dog shot by arrow found in Laurel County

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A group protecting animals from abuse is reporting a disturbing story out of Laurel County about a dog found with an arrow in its back.

Justice for Abused Animals, Inc. says the dog was found near Merrimac Church at the intersection of Highways 1023 on Monday afternoon.

They say the dog was seen playing with children earlier that day.

The group is asking anyone who may have information about who was responsible to contact them on their Facebook page at Justice For Abused Animals Inc.

The group says the dog did not survive.
