Deputies: Woman drops off two children at school under the influence
A KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Knox County woman is accused of being under the influence when she dropped off two children at school.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says a school resource officer at Flat Lick Elementary School approached 27-year-old Lena Hodge Tuesday morning after she and two children got out of the car.
The resource officer, who is also a sheriff’s deputy arrested Hodge after he says he determined she was under the influence.
The Sheriff’s Office says Hodge is charged with wanton endangerment, driving under the influence and not having prescription drugs in a proper container.
