Deputies: Weather Was Factor In Deadly Laurel Co. Crash

Deputies said that weather Friday morning was a factor in a deadly crash in Laurel County.

It happened just before 8:30 on KY-770, about eleven miles outside of London.

Investigators said a driver lost control on the wet road.

Deputies said the car slid sideways and downhill before hitting a minivan traveling the other direction.

Investigators said the man driving the car, Eric Grubb, 32, London, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Three people in the minivan reportedly suffered non-life threatening injuries.
