Deputies warn the public about a new scam

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Pulaski County sheriff’s office is warning people about a new scam.

Deputies say a caller will say your electric is going to be shut off if you don’t pay your bill.

In a specific example, a man receiving a call checked with his electric company first and confirmed it was a scam.

Deputies are reminding everyone if you get a scam call to report it and tell your friends and family.
