Deputies: Teens charged with vandalizing building in Clay Co.
CLAY COUNTY Ky. (WTVQ)- Four teens are accused of vandalizing a building owned by a church causing up to $30,000 worth of damage, according to Clay County Sheriff’s Office officials.
They say over the past few weeks numerous windows have been broken, paint thrown on the gym floor, the walls covered in graffiti and shelves torn down.
According to officials at the sheriff’s office the four teens were caught inside the building on Thursday afternoon.
They say the teens were taken into custody and charged with burglary.
The building is owned by Pine Grove Church, deputies say.
