Deputies: Somerset Man Admits to Stealing Motorcycle, Then Selling it for $200
According to deputies in Pulaski County, a motorcycle owner reported his bike missing and then saw it for sale at a local auction site nearly a week later.
On August 14, the Sheriff’s Office said a man called them, claiming his $1,800 motorcycle had been stolen from his home on Piney Grove Road.
Six days later, the same man called them again after he reportedly found the bike for sale in front of Lake Cumberland Auction in Tateville.
An investigation led deputies to Jerry Reynolds, 28, who they said confessed to selling the motorcycle to the auction for $200.
Reynolds was charged with receiving stolen property over $500 and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
