Deputies: One dead after car flipped
GRAY, Ky. (WTVQ) — A Knox County Deputy says he was dispatched to US 25 E on Monday, in regards to a fatal collision.
He said Tammy Hale was traveling north on US 25 when she apparently lost control of her vehicle, crossing over the median and becoming airborne. The vehicle, police say, rolled several times before coming to a stop in the southbound lane.
Hale was rushed to Corbin Baptist Regional Medical Center, and shortly thereafter pronounced dead by the Whitley County coroner.
Police say the initial investigation indicates Hale was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
