Deputies: Drugs and guns recovered from Laurel Co. home

LAUREL COUNTY, KY. (WTVQ)- A man and woman were arrested in Laurel County Wednesday for drug possession while two children were in the home.

Laurel County deputies made the arrests just outside of London during a drug raid.

Deputies tell us they found 51-year-old Debbie Hubbard in a bathroom with her two grandchildren.

Hubbard had a gun with her in that bathroom but was disarmed by officers.

64-year-old Johnny Shoup was also taken into custody.

According to deputies they recovered drugs and 39 guns from the home.
