Deputies: Assault arrest after man attacks brother-in-law with knife
LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Deputies in Laurel Co. say a man has been arrested after reportedly cutting his brother-in-law several times with a knife.
The Sheriff says deputies were called to a house off Schell Road at about 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday morning, on a report that the man had cut his brother-in-law with a knife, and was also threatening him with a machete.
When they arrived, deputies say they found the man in the home, and following a brief scuffle, were able to take 65-year-old Ronald Moran into custody.
Deputies say the victim suffered numerous cuts to his stomach, side, and back, and was taken to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment.
Moran was charged with assault, wanton endangerment, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.
He was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
