Deputies: Arrest made after chase in Laurel Co.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man was arrested after leading deputies on a car chase then a foot chase in Laurel County, according to officials.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says it started when deputies tried to pull over 27-year-old Dakota Mullins in London Friday night.

They say instead, Mullins took off and started driving on a graveled lane running along side the railroad tracks.

Deputies say when Mullins tried to cross the tracks he slammed into a tunnel wall.

Mullins got out and ran but deputies say they chased him, finding him hiding behind a log.
