Death investigation in Somerset

SOMERSET, Ky. (WTVQ) -Officers in Somerset are investigating a death after finding a man deceased inside his home.

Police say a friend reported finding the man just before 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.  When officers arrived, they found the body of 76-year-old Albert Hail in his home on Oak Hill Road.  Hail was later pronounced dead on the scene by the Pulaski Co. Coroner.  Detectives continued the investigation at the home until about 9:45 Thursday night.

Hail’s body was sent to Frankfort for an autopsy.

The Somerset Police Department is asking anyone with any information about what might have happened, to please call the  24-Hour Crime Tip Line at (606) 676-TIPS, or use the See-Hear-Report text-a-tip program by sending a new text message from your cell phone to “CRIMES” and include “SOMERSETPD” and the information about the tip. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
