Death Investigation In Garrard County After Woman’s Body Found On Porch

The badly decomposed body of a woman was found on her front porch on Ridgecrest Road in Garrard County Tuesday afternoon, according to the County Coroner.

State Police are investigating to see if any foul play was involved.

Garrard County Coroner Daryl Hodge told ABC 36 News that the body of Angela Salata, 47, was found by her sister.

The Coroner said Salata had been dead at least 2-to-3 days. 

The cause and manner of death haven’t been determined.

The body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort Tuesday night.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
