Danville bank robbed, police searching for suspect

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A panic alarm sends officers to a Danville bank on Tuesday.

The Danville Police Department say the alarm went off just before 3 p.m. at Farmer’s National Bank on East Main.

According to bank employees, a man entered the bank, carrying a plastic bag and demanded money. He then reached into the teller’s drawer and grabbed money.

Police say the man did not show a weapon or a note.

They say the suspect was wearing a black hoodie, black ski mask, dark glasses and yellow gloves.

Police say when they did a search of the area, they discovered items believed to be evidence in the robbery.
