“Dangerous” escaped Illinois inmates could be in Kentucky

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The manhunt for two escaped Illinois inmates continues, and authorities say that manhunt includes Kentucky.

Zachary Shock and Johnny Tipton broke out of the White County jail on Saturday by using a broken two-inch pipe to break through the concrete wall.

Authorities say Shock, who is 24-years-old, was in jail on charges of murder and aggravated battery with a firearm.

Tipton, who is 61-years-old, was being held on charges of theft and possession of stolen property.

The White County Sheriff’s Office says the inmates are considered dangerous.

The sheriff’s office says authorities in Kentucky are helping in the search for Shock and Tipton.

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife is said to be aiding in the search is the Livingston County area.
