Dancing with the Lexington Stars returns Saturday, April 30 at the Kentucky Castle

11th year for Rotary Club of Lexington fundraiser, benefitting Surgery on Sunday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Dancing with the Lexington Stars, in partnership with Arthur Murray Dance Studio, returns in just under two months.

The biggest annual fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Lexington has raised more than $1 million over the past 11 years for the Rotary Club’s Endowment Fund, benefitting the nonprofit Surgery on Sunday, which provides medically necessary outpatient surgeries at no cost to those who may fall between the cracks for available health care services.

This year’s event will look a little different. For the first time, on-air TV personalities from each of the local stations will take part in the live streaming event at the Kentucky Castle, including ABC36’s Erica Bivens. More information on how you can watch will be shared closer to the date.

Eight local celebrities will compete on Saturday, April 30. You can find more information on the 2022 dancer participants HERE. Tickets can be purchased online HERE.
