Damage in Taylor County possibly caused by microburst

TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Emergency officials believe a microburst caused damage to two buildings and some houseboats in Taylor County over the weekend.

Taylor County Emergency Management says a storm swept through the county around 4 a.m. Sunday and it appears a microburst hit 6.5 miles south of Campbellsville.

Emergency officials say it destroyed one concrete block garage and heavily damaged another, damaged three houseboats docked at Green River Marina and took out several trees.
