Cynthiana man found guilty of robbing Pharmacy
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office a Cynthiana man was convicted on robbery charges.
Officials say on Thursday Miguel David Ayala, 38, was found guilty of pharmacy robbery and possession with intent to distribute hydrocodone pills.
When Ayala robbed a Lexington Rite Aid Pharmacy he was stole approximately 4,000 hydrocodone pills, according to Kyle Edelen Public Affairs Officer with the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Officials say Ayala is scheduled for sentencing on August 28 and faces a maximum prison sentence of 20 years.
