CRU called to scene of serious accident on Iron Works Pike

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Part of Iron Works Pike is shutdown due to a serious accident near the Kentucky Horse Park.

Lexington Police responded to the crash just after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit has been called to the scene.

Westbound Iron Works Pike is blocked at I-75.

All westbound traffic is being diverted onto I-75 northbound.

One eastbound lane of Iron Works is open.

Please avoid the area if at all possible.
