Crowded church service for wounded officer
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – St. Mark Catholic Church in Richmond was filled with people Thursday evening for a special service for Richmond Police Officer Daniel Ellis, who was critically wounded in the line of duty on Wednesday. Many of the people in the crowd know Officer Ellis personally, while others have never met him, but they all had the same purpose and that was to pray for his recovery.
There was also talk of forgiveness for the man accused of shooting Ellis. There were songs and prayers throughout the service.
