Cross Country ‘Push America’ Cyclists Stop In Lexington
A cross-country trip by car is one thing.
Imagine a cross-country trip by bicycle.
A group from ‘Push America’ is doing it.
It’s a program from the Phi Kappa Phi Fraternity.
They’re biking from Seattle to Washington DC.
The group stopped in Lexington Tuesday for a 2 day visit.
The goal is to raise awareness and money for people with disabilities.
They stopped at ‘Latitute Arts Tuesday.
‘Push America’ says it expects to raise a half a million dollars during this nine-week trip.
The group says it’s raised $15 million since 1977.
