Crave Festival Returns
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Anyone hungry? This weekend, you can cure that hunger at the CRAVE Food + Music Festival, back to celebrate local food at Masterson Station Park.
It’s Lexington’s biggest community culinary event of the year, and it’s back for its eighth season. CRAVE features over forty local and regional restaurants and food trucks, craft beers, cocktails, a wine selection, and live music.
Food vendors will be serving special dishes created for CRAVE ranging from $2 to $5 in price. Lexington favorites, such as Drake’s, Azur, and Sav’s will be there, along with new additions such as Mi Pequena Hacienda.
It’s all about celebrating local businesses, and maybe even trying some new places.
“We actually came a couple years ago and we weren’t able to come last year since they didn’t have it. So we were really excited to get restaurants that we might not order from because we don’t know much about it. We want to try out some food and hopefully find something we like,” said Lexington resident Kelsey Berlin.
Though CRAVE celebrates local food and drink, there are activities for the entire family, including a kid’s area.
CRAVE Food Festival will be at Masterson Station Park until 11 on Saturday and will open at noon on Sunday.
