Crash causes gas leak in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The road is now clear after a driver was injured Saturday morning in a crash that caused a gas leak.

Lexington police say a car swerved off Old Frankfort Pike and hit a gas meter.

The driver had minor injuries and Columbia Gas had to be called to shut down the gas line and repair the meter.

The roadway was reopened just before two this afternoon.
