Country Music Hall of Famer, Kentucky native Tom T. Hall dead at 85

NASHVILLE, TN. (WTVQ)- A Country Music Hall of Fame member and Kentucky native has died.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry shared memorial messages online for singer-songwriter Tom T. Hall, who died at age 85.

Hall was born in 1936 in Olive Hill in Carter County.

He wrote several hit songs and was perhaps best known for “Harper Valley PA”.
