Counterfeit money being passed in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Williamsburg Police are warning businesses about bogus bills circulating in the city.

Police say counterfeit $100 bills have turned up at businesses.

Investigators say at a glance the money looks legitimate, but upon closer inspection, there’s Chinese writing on them.
