“Could this be the one?”

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It’s the Justify show at Pimlico.  Will the heel hold up?  Is all well with a muddy, sloppy track in the forecast for Saturday?

Plenty of questions will be answered this weekend when the starting gate opens for the 143rd Preakness Stakes.

Trainer Bob Baffert likes the second leg of the Triple Crown the best of the three stops, but not just because he’s unbeaten with Kentucky Derby winners in the Preakness.

It’s a “sigh of relief stop” for Baffert; an opportunity to enjoy the ride before the Belmont and after the grind of making it to Churchill.

Plus the public really gets behind the Derby winner.

Hear from Baffert in the video.
