Coroner needs help finding deceased Lexington man’s family

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office needs help finding the next-of-kin of a Lexington man who died earlier this month.

The coroner says 68-year-old Michael Kenneth Smith, of Lexington, died on December 9 at the Saint Joseph Hospital Hospice Care Center.

The coroner says Smith is believed to have been single his whole life. They say his mother is possibly Marilyn Smith, of Houston, Texas. The coroner also says his brother may be Richard Smith, of Louisville, Kentucky.
