Cool Down on the Way
Temperatures today were good and tomorrow gets even better. Temperatures topped out in the mid 80s today thanks to a cold front sliding across the state. Along with cooler temps, beneficial rain has fallen in many areas. Rain and storm chances continue through the night tonight and early in the morning (mainly in southern counties).
Post-frontal conditions will be very pleasant as a high pressure system moves into the Great Lakes. Temperatures Thursday are expected to be in the low/mid 80’s with dewpoints in the 50s and 60s. We will enjoy a couple days of comfortable conditions before mugginess increases early next week with a low pressure system. Rain chances will also be on the rise as this low pressure scoots in.
