Company like AirBNB, but for horses comes to Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Most people think an AirBNB is used for travelers that want to rent a room or a house.

The company, Staller had a similar idea to AirBNB but this time for horses.

Staller was created in 2017 and is in about 20 states.

The company came to Lexington a few months ago and has about 30 properties involved in the Lexington area.

Jeannie Larkin owns Wainui Farm and has joined Staller.

She has 20 stalls and wants five of them to be available for rent.

Larkin says it’s a way to make a little extra cash and stay connected to the horse industry.

“We thought it’d be a neat way to meet people,” said Jeannie Larkin.

Staller wants horses all across the country to feel at home even when they are away from home.
