Commission for Citizens with Disabilities to host town hall meeting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Mayor’s Commission for Citizens with Disabilities will host a town hall meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday September 17 at the Police Academy Training Center, 500 Newtown Pike. The training center is located on the Newtown Pike Campus of Bluegrass Community & Technical College.

The meeting is intended to provide individuals with disabilities and family members an opportunity to voice their concerns about various topics in the community. The forum will feature panel discussions with professionals in the fields of accessibility, transportation, employment, housing, community safety and healthcare.
