Cold weather brings warning for pet owners

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – As temperatures drop, Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control is issuing a warning to pet owners to bring their pets indoors.

Even though your pet may have a shelter, that may not be enough in these conditions.

If you need assistance in borrowing a crate to bring your pet indoors, you can call their office at 859-255-9033 extension 221.

Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control officers will be out responding appropriately to welfare concerns.
