UPDATE: KY 1541 closure in Jessamine County rescheduled

UPDATE POSTED SEPTEMBER 22, 2021 AT 2:32 P.M.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The closure for River Road/KY 1941 in Jessamine County has been rescheduled due to inclement weather.

The closure was originally set to start Wednesday, Sept. 22 for cross drain installation operations.

Now, the closure at milepoint 5.80 will happen on Friday, Sept. 24 and Saturday, Sept. 25 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Drivers can take Pollard Pike and Logana Pike/KY 1981 as alternate routes.

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled closure for Jessamine County.

A temporary road closure will be necessary for cross drain replacement operations.

Wednesday, September 22 through Friday, September 24 – 7 a.m to 7 p.m. daily

KY 1541 – River Road

Alternate Routes:

  • Pollard Pike
  • KY 1981 – Logana Pike

According to KTC, all work/closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

District 7 includes:  Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott, and Woodford Counties.
