Gofundme account set up for clerk shot in weekend robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Gofundme account has been set up to help out a gas station clerk shot multiple times during a weekend robbery.

Police say when the clerk refused to give up money to an armed robber saturday night, he was shot four times.  They say he was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

A Gofundme page has identified the victim as Charles Moore, a father, grandfather, and a Marine Corps veteran.

The creator of the page says money raised will help pay for Moore’s medical expenses, and for the care of his two dogs while he’s hospitalized.

Police are still searching for the suspects in the robbery and shooting.
