Cleanup days set at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park

CORBIN, Ky. (AP) — Two cleanup days are set for this month at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park in southeastern Kentucky.

State parks officials say volunteers are needed Aug. 22 and Aug. 29, starting at 9 a.m. EDT both days.

They say gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Volunteers should register at the visitor center near the falls and wear appropriate clothing and shoes.

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park has a lodge, a restaurant, cottages, campground, hiking trails, fishing, horseback riding, rafting and other recreational activities. It also offers scenic views of Cumberland Falls.
