UPDATE: Missing Clay County man found dead, search still on for other
UPDATE, POSTED 2:30 p.m., Dec. 18, 2020
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the body of 58-year-old Joey Mills was found by family members Friday at around 10 a.m. in a wooded area near his home.
Mills was last seen at his home in the Horse Creek community on Saturday. His family reported him missing Tuesday.
His body is being sent for autopsy to determine a cause of death.
Meanwhile, crews with Clay County Emergency Management continue to search for Robert Estep, who was also reported missing on Tuesday.
David Watson, the director of Clay County Emergency Management, says they have been able to narrow their search to the Britton Branch area after a home surveillance video showed Estep on his ATV around that area.

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Clay County Sheriff’s investigators continue to search for two missing men.
In one case, volunteers, family and others have spent days looking for 69-year-old Robert Estep, of Hector. According to the Enterprise news[paper, he left home Tuesday morning on a red Kawasaki four-wheeler to go deer hunting. The search in areas where he was known to frequent began when he didn’t return home.
He does not have a cell phone with him, the family told sheriff’s investigators.
Sheriff Patrick Robinson told the newspaper the search is continuing throughout the day Thursday.
Meanwhile, 58-year-old Joey Mills, of the Curry Branch community, was last seen Saturday
