Clay City trailer fire results in arson investigation
CLAY CITY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Fire crews in Clay City had a busy early morning fighting a trailer fire.
According to Lisa Johnson, Public Information Officer for the Clay City Fire Department, a call came in around 4:15 a.m. of a trailer fire on Rowland Avenue.
By the time units got to the scene, flames had engulfed the trailer and it was a total loss. Firefighters cleared the fire close to 6:30 a.m.
There were no injuries and the trailer was vacant.
No electricity is believed to have been going to the trailer.
An arson investigation is ongoing.
