Classes dismissed in Bath Co. after bomb threat

OWINGSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Classes were dismissed in Bath Co. after school officials say they found a bomb threat written on a bathroom wall at Bath County Middle School.

According to the Bath Co. School District’s website, the threat was found around 10:30 a.m. on Friday.  Students and staff were evacuated and taken to Bath County High School, before all schools were dismissed at noon.

School officials say all schools and grounds were searched and that nothing was found.  They say all school activities for this weekend will proceed as scheduled.
