Clark County school employee accused of stealing from student fund
CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Clark County public school employee is accused of taking tens-of-thousands of dollars over nearly a decade from the George Rogers Clark High School student activity fund,
The nine-count indictment accuses 61-year old Dixie Rigney of theft between July 2010 and January 2019.
She’s also accused of forgery and trying to hide evidence of the theft.
Rigney was arrested Friday afternoon. She bonded out of jail that evening. Her bond was amended from $25,000 to $10,000, according to court documents.
She is scheduled to be arraigned May 16th in Clark District Court in Winchester.
