City of Lexington Continues Storm Cleanup Collections
The City of Lexington continued on Tuesday to make special debris collections in two Georgetown Road neighborhoods that were heavily damaged Sunday during thunderstorms.
The Division of Waste Management cleared the debris people placed near the sidewalks in the Highlands and Coldstream Station neighborhoods.
On Wednesday, Waste Management will have three rear-loader trucks and a knuckleboom truck assigned to the neighborhoods for special pick ups.
People were asked to cut tree debris into sections four-feet in length or less and place it at the curb.
Materials from damaged houses and other non-tree waste should also be placed at the curb, but separate from the tree debris.
